NICOR ADVANCED ENERGY PROVIDES $2,000 GRANT TO CLEARBROOK
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL (April 19, 2006) - Clearbrook announced today that Nicor Advanced Energy provided a Lock-12 grant to the non-profit organization creating innovative opportunities, services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Nicor Advanced Energy Lock-12 grant will cover up to $2,000 in natural gas bills for a Clearbrook group home on Fremont Street in Rolling Meadows.
“We are very grateful to Nicor Advanced Energy for their ongoing support, as the Lock-12 grant donation covers 12 months of our natural gas bills for our Fremont home,” Carl M. La Mell, Clearbrook President, explained. “This will certainly help our organization continue to provide a warm and safe environment for our residents.”
La Mell continued, “Lock-12 from Nicor Advanced Energy helps us budget better for this year and the upcoming winter. Nobody can predict the weather, or how much gas prices will fluctuate from month to month, and these unknowns can create unwelcome surprises on our gas bills. But now we have the assurance of knowing exactly what our gas bill will be – regardless of changing gas prices or the weather. We will be able to avoid surprises in our natural gas energy bills.”
“Our philanthropic mission is to apply our charitable funds, company expertise and employee volunteer efforts to help fulfill the educational, health, cultural and community needs of the people who reside in our service area,” added Chris Childress, President of Nicor Advanced Energy.
