NICOR ADVANCED ENERGY OFFERS SENIOR DISCOUNT NEW LOCK 12 PRODUCT
NAPERVILLE, Illinois (3/15/2006) – With consumers still reeling from unprecedented high natural gas prices last winter and anxious about possible price hikes again this winter, Nicor Advanced Energy is pleased to offer senior citizens a $3.00 discount off each month’s bill amount, for one year, when they enroll in the Lock 12 program.
Designed to provide consistency and predictability, Lock 12 is an innovative plan that lets customers lock in their natural gas bills for 12 months, a particularly attractive program for cash-constrained seniors. The Lock 12 amount is guaranteed not to change for 12 months due to gas price volatility or extreme weather.
Paul DeLacey, General Manager for Nicor Advanced Energy said, “we are always looking for new ways to help budget-conscious seniors on fixed incomes manage their energy costs. We’re giving seniors an opportunity to lock in their natural gas bill, realize a discount off each month’s bill, and rest assured knowing that whatever happens in the market their monthly bill will remain unchanged for one year!”
More product information and enrollment options can be accessed on line at www.nicoradvancedenergy.com. Additionally, Nicor Advanced Energy offers energy-related home heating and air conditioning services and warranty programs through its affiliate division, Nicor Home Services—another way to manage energy costs by insuring home equipment is running efficiently.
