But if you’d rather wait to commit to a specific price for an extended time, you may want to consider a plan that provides gas price flexibility, our Flex plan.
How Commercial Flex Plan works ...
Flex Plan is similar to traditional Nicor Gas service, only our price takes into account the market price of gas EACH DAY, not each month like the utility. That way, your Flex Plan price better reflects what’s actually happening in the market rather than setting a price at the beginning of each month.

Most often, a utility offers no flexibility to switch to a fixed rate or other plan that provides you with some price protection. By choosing Flex plan, you will be enrolling in the Choice Program. Nicor Advanced Energy will supply your gas, and the gas utility will continue to deliver your gas, read your meter, and respond to any gas leaks, as normal.
